4SITE Forum is the first interactive conference in the Middle East to promote innovation and entrepreneurship towards sustainable economic development and social impact.

Now, if you are in the “online” business like some would call it and you didn’t hear about this, you are living in the dark ages. If you are a Lebanese online company and you didn’t hear about this, you better check what the heck is wrong at your offices and how on earth you could miss something like that.

Let’s play a little game, check the picture and pin point the Lebanese company in the sponsors list.

sponsors

None! This can’t get any worse, Lebanese companies, in the online business, not sponsoring such an event, not promoting it for free, not helping out (I am talking about BIG names, The Root Space did one hell of a job and a big kudos to them! respect!)

Again, all they do is nag, and nag some more. I guess the problem isn’t with the infrastructure (it is to an extent), the root of the problem is the corporations themselves in Lebanon.

Jordan is turning into a hub, and it’s all thanks to the startups, the small companies and the big companies’ efforts back there.

Maktoob, Cisco, Bayt, Aramex, Collabora, Zawya, Jeeran, YallaStartup (Lebanese, another project by Habib Haddad), Syria Forward Magazine, hibr (Lebanese!), Innov’azione, Startup Business, Baraka: thank you, shukrane, mille grazie for making this possible when the companies around here are in a coma.
