I am brainstorming lately on how and what to present in a few days/weeks about user experience.
The audience will be folks (tweeple!), most are bloggers, all are internet savvy, but the vast majority is not familiar with user experience design.
I decided to take an ascending approach, just to familiarize everyone with UX and explain that UX is omnipresent and affects our daily lives…
What’s better than ketchup to start with (makes anything yummier, just like Tabasco sauce!)

relating the ketchup bottle to the user experience, a glass bottle is very outdated, hard to get the content out and the label is usually most of the times upside down (when actually using the bottle)
the plastic bottle is more fluid and can be squeezed to get the content out (ketchup in this case) and ultimately a better experience than the glass one.
the last plastic bottle is the same as the one before it, except that the label is in the right direction for the user to be able to actually read it and read the content when using it!..

I guess Zuz covered all the points… Maybe in the 3rd one (Good!) we can make use of ALL the ketchup, while in the 1st one it will be more difficult to empty it and there would be a waste… Maybe?….. :D
