For some reason I had a few flashbacks today, going back in my life, the last 10 years, a lot happened, some good, some bad, but all came out well…so a thank you is only appropriate.

Thank you…

My ex-colleagues who believed in me

My ex-boss(es) who were stubborn and short sighted, it made me learn to be patient and keep on pushing forward, your ingratitude made me stronger.

My teachers and mentors, you are a great source of inspiration and endless knowledge.

A few HR managers and interviewers, a big thank you, the unprofessional-ism that you showed made me run away and learn one thing or two.

The backstabbers, I cannot thank you enough, you only made my days more exciting and less boring.

The social engineers I came across, thank you for inspiring me and developing my inquiry skills.

My current colleagues, thank you for the backup and support, one really needs it when starting in a new environment, you only made it smooth and pleasant.

A bunch of people I met on twitter, you surely know how to put a smile on someone’s face, and one can only learn so much from you! Thank YOU!

My wife, the biggest thank you goes to her for; Putting up with my endless hours on my laptop working, putting up with my cluttered desk, for finding that paper that I always lose, for being there when needed, for the encouragements, for the moral support, for always repeating that one phrase “you know your shit, stop worrying”. For being my audience when preparing a presentation, for being the MS Excel tech support, for listening to me ramble about the latest research or conceptĀ  and looking as if you are understanding and are interested.

Thank you, for passing the Twitter addiction to me, for letting me playing loud music when I am trying to think, for your extra care when working overnights, thank you for E V E R Y T H I N G.

To the haters, thank you, you proved Darwin right.

Thank you Media Temple for the seamless experience.

Thank you Godaddy for being bad, otherwise I would’ve never got to know Media Temple.

Thank you Microsoft, for having the worst OS, if it wasn’t for you, I would’ve never switched to Mac.

Thank you Windows Mobile, you only make me long for Android enabled phones.

A big thank you to the ministry of telecommunication for the worst internet connection, every time I go online I keep reminding myself that it could be worse, I could be in some remote desert being chased by lions, I am barefoot, wearing some thick sweater and for some reason the FBI is after my ass at the same time. So thank you for that.

and a final thank you goes to everyone who smiled while reading this, and to everyone who tolerates my sense of humor and bluntness.
